Walking through a forest park in Co.Wexford this week it mid-Autumn, the leaves on the ground, and those on their way down, were browns and yellows, but everywhere else was still green!

Given that we sit in the same longitude range as the much less green, and much less mild Newfoundland, something is very different.

Spoiler alert…It’s in the water guys!

The North Atlantic Drift brings up the mild currents of the Gulf Stream, thus providing us with a milder climate all year round.
