This for me is it.
I can smell the road, the cars, the people…those beutiful people of Havana.
I can hear the car radio, feel the quiet of the sea.
I sense the guy on the wall thinking…’This sun’s setting just for me”.
I can smell and taste the rum.
I will never forget who I was with and where we came from.
I will never forget the songs we sang in the park.
Those bemused and smiling people, as we bubbled past them with our shoes in hand.
Past the people playing chess with life, and the chess players too.
The full moon shining.
The game of baseball still ringing out from the bar we departed from.
Wandering off into Park Central not caring what was to come.
Oh yes…I remember this.
I just discovered your blog and I like it a lot! This posting is special to me because with your photo and your words you opened the world of my imagination. I was reading it three times and now I am smiling. :)

I had those same feelings in 2012 when I stood on the Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was right after a rain storm and right before the sun set. All I can say is it will live with me as long as I am alive.
Nice post.
Keep cranking,
