Survive the winter, only to be cast aside in spring.
A branch from an evergreen is flung onto the sandy beach by the prevailing winds from the west. Soon the Atlantic storms will give way, and Ireland’s deciduous trees will add their many shades of green to this island.
Spring has just started to kick in on this side of the Atlantic, with the nights loosing their stranglehold on the minimal daylight hours offered by winter. Where in the Southern Hemisphere you may be Autumn/Fall bound…we look forward to more heat, colours and animals by the day!
Some colour in my next post perhaps???
