As I stroll to my awaiting aircraft my eyes are drawn towards the sunset. The control tower put into silhouette by the pastel colours in the distance.
I harboured dreams of becoming a pilot in my teenage years, even taking a few hours towards achieving my private pilots license.
But that’s not what the future had in-store for me.
Instead I’m left to be content with the regular air travel that enables me to skip between Ireland and England.
With only 40 minutes in the air. More time is spent looking out of terminal windows at these metal birds.
